I have to say, I’m totally shocked by this! What about you? Here’s what ET is reporting.
ET can confirm that ‘Terminator Salvation’ star Bryce Dallas Howard will be replacing a ‘Twilight’ cast member for the franchise’s third movie, ‘Eclipse.’ Read on for the details!Howard will taking over Rachelle Lefevre’s role as the vampire Victoria, says Summit Entertainment.
“We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” said Erik Feig, Summit’s president of worldwide production and acquisitions. “Rachelle brought ‘Victoria’ to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”
Summit says that scheduling conflicts prevented Lefevre from continuing on as Victoria. ‘Eclipse’ starts shooting this August and is expected to rise in theaters on June 30, 2010.
Shooting for the second film in the ‘Twilight’ series, ‘New Moon,’ has wrapped, and the film will be in theaters November 20.

That’s just a bunch of crap! I can’t believe they couldn’t work around Rachelle’s schedule.
They suck…im not so happy about that i mean i bet that bryce girl is very very talented and what not but i already have rachelle as victoria in my mind,rachelle is the best victoria ever…no doubt about that!!!
Bryc, we are all sorry if we affended you and if it seems as if everyone is attacking you. Still, You have to remember that twilight (the movie) actually sent people to the book store. People started reading again just to keep the story, the fantasy going. When they read, there imaginations went wild with the 1st victoria as the character they were picturing in there minds. I know I did. I saw her and I don’t want to see anyone else. You said it yourself, bryc is very sweet, Rachelle was/is a sexy lioness with red crazy curls. They both are good actors, but different. It just wont be the same but you didn’t ask the fans summit. you just went out and made your gosh darn movie. We are the ones that make you the money. twilight is a sagga and Rachelle should have got her time in the spot light. Ron Howards daughter Bryc Got hers and will continue to make movies. This would have been Rachelles chance and it just sucks. So sorry Rachelle, you will be missed and I don’t know why it has me all chocked up.
Bryc looks to much like Alice, and there should only be one Alice. It’s just to bad, it wont be as I pictured it, but then again either was New Moon.
I really Hope in the last movie you get a shot of the whole cullen family, this time including bella looking up at the sun. If it is how I imagined it in
I adore Twilight! I can’t wait for Twilight Eclipse! I’m so infatuated with taylor, lol.
I still find that the first film was better, but New Moon certainly wins in eye candy lol
Me and my cousin think the other victoria is better but that is already to late
I agree Ashlei. I feel that Rachelle was better, but I also think that Bryce did a good job in Eclipse. It’s a hard adjustment since we got used to Rachelle in the first two and she was amazing, but I don’t think Bryce let us down either. It was just different.
